Hey Lance
I notted in a comment you made you mentioned Fort Jackson S.C. My 17 year old son is spending summer Vacation there at bootcamp. He will return home Sept5, In the spring when he gradutes from highschool he will go to Texas to train to become a medic. Believe me as a parent I am very proud of him .
LOL! I gotta say the Bomber I use is a bait that tracks 4-6 ft' and suspended fish cant resist it. I have most success trolling the Bomber crawfish pattern in stained water. You gotta chart some suspended fish and then run over them with this thing.
Lance, It is very refreshing to see that heavy metal is still alive!! I've been a metal head my whole life and will continue to be! Good metal and huge bluegills.....well, its like peanut butter and jelly, my friend!! Always throwin horns!!!!
Carley -Your dad is lucky to be your father and you are lucky to have a personal photographer .Insist that he not doctor the photos so you're fish look bigger. You're a big girl and you dont need that kind of help!Ha Ha!! You can catch lunkers fair and square! Tell your dad ,he's great for me!
Lance!-
I went fishin with Arty Cole today (a damn skunkin except for a willin' 5" Red Breasted Sunfish that hit a small Krocodile spoon tipped with a rancid piece of Nightcrawler)) I told him you are a BB so I didn't forget..HA HA!! Check out Arty on this site!
Hey Lance...what's really wierd this year is that all of our big fish have come from public waters...2 small community owned lakes and one larger, county own facility that has lots of recreational options at it. I believe that great, untapped bluegilling is right at our fingertips if we would all take the time to look. I see people walking past 10 and 11 in redears to catch 12 to 14 in bass..and they think they are getting the better end of the deal!!! Go figure?!?!
Anyway, keep your eyes peeled and those 10 inchers will show up where you least expect them. Good Luck!
Hey Lance, Thanks for the kind comments on my Sunfish and Yes, NY does have some really nice fish....They can be hard to find as I fish public lakes and ponds which get pretty heavy fishing pressure!!!! But if you look hard enough, you can still find a few!!! Tight Lines!!!!
