If you have white bass in the river or creek with flowing current, try using a jig and cork. Use the longest medium weight rod you have, and put a float on that's big enough to suspend a 1/8 oz. marabou crappie jig. White or Chartreuse are good colors. Tie one on and set the depth around 3 - 4 ft. Cast upstream and let it drift down river, giving it a twitch-pause, action. Usually after you twitch it, they will take the float under.<br />
