Yep I try and spread the load of gills taken too. I'm laying off Iowa for a year now and back to Southern Illinois and maybe Indiana or Kansas!!!!! I'd sure love to try those Kasas pits that Greg Mc talks about . I love fishing shore cover like the stuff in his photos.

Thanks, I  use a strategy of resting locations as well Tooty.......I fished this river over thirty times in 2010 and had incredible success.....Since I have cultivated over twenty bodies of water in North Carolina alone, I only fished Yeopim twice in 2011...I will fish it up to 10 times in 2012 and  compare all my notes......I'm going in to my eighth season in North Carolina recording this data......I'm very elated with the results up to now but have a difficult time staying away from these places when the bug bites me.......There is only three rivers I have fished every year because they are my home waters!  These are locations that I have adopted the "eat medium, release large" method and I have enjoyed great success in these rivers as well......

The Yeopim River is another great destination, where do I go this Spring??????? I'll fish them all said the mad giller!
