Just up the street from my house they stock a lake with tons of trout every year. I hope to hold a fishing clinic for my kid's school this spring and get as many kids as possible on hard fighting little trout as possible. As much as I can't stand the taste and texture of them, they throw a nice little fit. ;)

caught them at lake skinner,ca my new favorite lake. They stocked trout yesterday, so this morning from 6am to 6:10am i had landed 4 fish and farmed one. Not my type of fish to eat but i kinda was in the mood to try a new recipe for trout, so i kept 3. When i go out and trout fish i aim for the big boy's, and i don't mean 3 or 4 pounds, i mean like 10+ lbs, that's my type of trouting.

Second Greg's post. I tried really hard to develop a taste for trout, but I will be throwing them back from here on out. Very fun to catch though.

Thats a beautiful Gill!!!!!!!!!! I would chunk the trout, but bet it was fun. Details what were they caught on???
