50+ holes, wow ! Ya can't say you didn't work for them .Ya got 11 fish ,good for you !Were you just jigging or did you set tip ups too?

   In NJ we are allowed 5 rigs .I generally set 3 tip ups ,Jig a rod and have a dead stick rod hanging off a bucket. I switch on and off with the jigging rods .I have two set up for Gills and pan fish with 3 and 4# test  line /small lures , but I also have 6# and 8# test on other rods and jig spoons tipped with shiner heads or tails  for the big appetite Crappie , Pickerel,Perch and Bass .

was a really slow day 2hrs of fishing and 50+ holes produces 11 fish. total

It was a very good 1st outing for 2017 and the best I've ever done at this body of water through the ice .Very pleased Leo!
