Bluegill - Big Bluegill

Do you love big bluegill?

Ken Sobanski has had a great Summer in pursuit of trophy gills and he has provided a lot of testimony on the Gulp waxies on a drop shot rig......I employ the same product tipped on a jig under a float and have goood results in my region.......

Thanks guys.........never know what the gills might want on a particular day or during certain conditions.....I like to be prepared to provide a variety if you will.........often my strategy is to show them something they haven't seen......glad the information helped Ken, that makes it worth sharing.......

Great Copper Jeff!

Gearing up for ice fishing season last fall i needed to reinforce my supply of natural gulp maggots. having read and influenced by your discussion on "The Phenomenon of the color PINK in Brackish Waters for Sunfish" i picked up a bottle of pink colored maggots also. late fall i had great success under a slip float as well as under the ice. since then jig tipping and micro drop shotting with the pink jigs has greatly improved my catch in numbers and quality. thanks for the tip Jeff
