Bluegill - Big Bluegill

Do you love big bluegill?

I found these floats while rummaging through my sock drawer!
So if any of you "Floater Experts" can help me identify the manufacture of these, please do.
The one on the left has a " 2BB'printed on the thin stem below the bulb!
That is the only mark on either floater.
Also how would you rig these up?

Thanks for the info guys!

These are probably factory made as the painting is very precise and the lettering on the one with"2BB"is machined printed.

These are probably 25-35 years old!

If I use these would  probably use Keith`s advice!!

Right now I have begun experiments with setting up porcupine quills with different paint patterns!

There are similarities to the floats manufactured by Gapen.

KEITH, THESE LOOK LIKE THE PORCUPINE QUILL I USE FOR ICE FISHING, THEY HAVE THE SAME STEM THAT THE LINE SLIPS THROUGH. WHEN YOU SAY FLOATERS ARE THEY LIKE BOBBERS.HOPE THIS HELPS..RICHARD, GAYLORD MICH

They look handmade to me. The 2bb stands for 2 bb sized shot that will cock the float. You could rig them as a slip float with a bead or use the small split shot to keep it in place. You can also use a keeper at the top and fish them like a quill, this is the method I prefer.Check out Johnny Wilkins' page for some more float rigging tips.
