I can say the Pickerel were active and chasing spoons day before the full moon last time i fished . The high winds foiled my winds for Thanksgiving day the day after the Full moon .
Thanks Slip and I agree.......thanks for your input.
I understand Carl and I too fish regardless of conditions provided boater's safety is not compromised.........I know the moon phases impact fishing so I pay attention........
...oh yeah the full and new moon matter!... i schedule all my ice fishing trips to the moon phases along with the major and minor intraday periods.
SORRY JEFF;; I GO FISHING;; WHEN EVERI CAN----- AND--- I HAVENT BEEN ABLE TO GO FISHING SINCE;; JUNE OF 2017 !!!! TALK ABOUT A DRY PERIOD !!! NOT TO MENTION AWWWWWGGGGGGGHHHHH !!!
Had a decent trip today behind the Beaver Moon........a nice mixed bag of fish dominated by black crappie and trophy fliers.....also added a few largemoiuth and chain pickerel........dead calm winds and heavy overcast.......fish had moved to a drop off and settled in around six to eight feet deep in twelve feet of water with the fliers a little deeper..........Want to get out again this weekend but the weather man will have alot to do with that..........
Does the Full Moon matter to your fishing this late in the year? Share your opinion with us if you don't mind, thanks in advance.......
