I think I'm  aways from warm water yet but that will give me time to gitter done.

I'm just a few weeks away from having warm enough waters.

Al and I sound like 2 peas in a pod. My float tube and my 9' fly rods.

When I had one years ago, I used it on large lakes sometimes. As long as you are launching right near where you want to fish, and you can launch pretty much anywhere you can walk to the water, it was fine.

hey Dicky;; my fishing buddy; Mr. Al fishes out of one of those all the time on old hickory lake!  he just stays close to the bank tho;; and catches tons of fish using a 9 foot fly rod!  and remember-- Jen Nayfly and Greg Mc/Williams uses theirs as well!

Richard I can honestly say not yet. Still working on the mods to made it more comfortable and storage. Looks like it will be fun though and your right I don't think its a big lake water craft.
