Bluegill - Big Bluegill

Do you love big bluegill?

Lost a nice Bass with a poor hookset using this Paddle Tail Grub while draggin' bottom slowly . Jumped for me though before throwing the hook . This Yellow Perch was kind enough to stay on the line .The month of June has active Crayfish and when the suns high its a good technique to drag bottom in imitation of Crayfish ,a favored food of both Yellow Perch and Bass .I used a bit of Shad scented 'Liquid Mayhem' by the hook .The shallows can still hold a few fish with the trees providing ambush cover of shade.
