Cool rain trip

Got out for about 90 minutes. I was catching them casting a leech hooked an inch below a #12 fluorescent orange lil’ Corky bait float to a the front of aweedbed ata drop-off.
This was my third time out targeting big bluegill and I got closer to my first nine inch bluegill. My time out got cut down by a delusional swan and I nearly had to defend myself!
I am new to fishing with bluegill tackle and I’m having a great time! I’m using 4 pound maxima ultra green line on a 7’ ultralight action rod. I’ve been impressed by how much tougher that rig is compared to with what I thought it would be. I appreciate everything that I’ve picked up on here from you.
