Thanks mark. This doesn't do anything to the waterbase paint does it? Thats all I ever used was waterbase. I use createx I think that what its called been awhile since I done the airbrush thing probably 20+ years when I started out with T-shirts I'll have to dig a couple out of the closet and show you some day.

Dick a ps Sally Hansens hard as nails isn't bad in a pinch.

Hi Dick, I use EnviroTex Lite pour on High Gloss. It has a long drying time but gives a very long lasting finish in the water I would venture to say at least ten times longer than other non-epoxy finishes and I tried a bunch.  most two part epoxies have to be rotated while they dry to prevent sag.  I wouldn't go with any thing less than a thirty minute epoxy.  I waited to buy the Envirotex at Michael's craft store when I had a 50% off coupon for a single item made it about twelve bucks for sixteen ounces probably a lifetime supply if it doesn't go bad.  I mix 1/4 teaspoon each of resin and hardener in a disposable shot glass (Dollar Tree) stir using a popsicle stick. this is enough to coat at least 15 poppers then a rotate using this rig I made from an old rotisserie motor until there is no more chance of sag, usually four to six hours depending on the temp and humidity

Good luck with the poppers Jim! Strangely, the first thing I would do with a new Miss P right out of the package was to trim the legs and tail back....had better luck that way.
