Thanks Tony....I'll keep the camera ready in the event the creature pops out.....you're right, so many of the areas I fish look exactly like this area.......

Very pretty spot.....everytime I see one of your photos with the channels, and the undergrowth, I'm reminded of that old black and white movie "Creature from the Black Lagoon"! I feel like I could look over your shoulder in this photo and there he would be......

I like fishing shaded pockets during high skies like the ones to my right in this picture.....The big gills were tucked tightly to that cover....

Our water is dark and beautiful, temperatures are holding nicely in the middle 80s and steady flow from the south the last week have conditions ideal on the Albemarle Estuary.......The fishing is red hot in this region right now.....
