Bluegill - Big Bluegill

Do you love big bluegill?

9'' Hybrid Bluegill x Green Sunfish (3-9-13)

Weather finally made its way into the 40's today, finally got to go out for the fish time. This was the biggest fish of the day, they hit pretty good for about an hour then up and stopped, have to try again tomorrow.

Thanks everybody, still pretty cold here in N. Ohio, can't wait for the weather to warm up so I can get out there on a more consistent basis.

I guess I just have to wait for decent weather, then.  Stormy today, cold front tomorrow.  Water temp a couple days ago was 53 in the shallow end.

They'll bite Allen... I catch them all winter. Caught a couple today, water was low forties.

Nice!  Gotta love those Hybrids!

I'm waiting for the pond at work to warm up enough for the Hybrids to start biting again.  I want to start playing with them on my 5wt fly rod again.
