Thanks Tooty It's always fun to get out. The pond will be going through a big transformation here soon when the water level goes down. I let it get way ahead of me to much going on and it was weeds around the whole pond. Been working on it by hand got it looking fairly good but some place's so thick just will next to impossible to do by hand. Found a guy around me who has a back hoe with a ditch blade on it so I want to get rid of the muck to he'll be going around the whole pond if it ever quits raining and the water level goes down. I'll try to remember to get pictures.

John I have lots of different rods from different makers all being graphite light and U/L. This one is a Berkley AMP 5'6" that I think I got from Bass Pro.

John I caught that on a Pflueger Purist. It can out a couple years ago. I have changed over to Pflueger reel exclusively because I fell in love with the reels smoothness and great drag system. The fishing I do the reel have to be smooth cause I cast and retrieve and don't like any catches in my reels. They have worked well for me.

Thanks LedHed. I have about all the Pflueger reels. I satarted with the cheap Gold Medalist. For the money and the smoothness I fell in love with the Pfluegers. From there got the Arbor, President, Supreme, and the one I caught the catfish on came out a couple years ago the Purist. All the reels have worked great for me. Thanks for the offer on the Yo-Zuri hybrid 2lb. All my spools are full but I'll empty one. I have been meaning to try the line but haven't as yet. I think quality lines are worth there weight in gold. I think your on my friends request I'll drop you a line and get your address. Thanks much I will be looking foreword to trying it out over vacation.

 You get that on a Pflueger President reel ? I have two Presidents and a Supreme UL that are reliable and in constant use for me .

Although I thought it was one of my hybrid stripers from my pond it was a blast to catch. This fish if caught this summer will be culled along with some bass but today he lives a little longer.
