    Thank you for joining, Zig.

This is turning out to be a pretty cool place. I'll never make money off of it, but I might make some friends. :-)

Yoh Zig, I'm sorry I didn't post a picture of my biggest Bluegill but I can't find It so i put up some Crappie.
I actually do too much Bass fishing but decided to spend more time on Crappie, Bluegill, and Pike now that I've aged a bit. Our fishing declined here for quite a while as everything was about the Salmon fishery. Hopefully now that that has declined they will concentrate on bring back the panfish. Thanks for writing back. Thanks Don Hartman

I promise to put up some bluegill pictures as soon as possible.
    Thanks Don Hartman

Agreed Zig - interesting that when I tip fly rod crickets or woolly buggers with powerbait wrigglers, the rock bass are steady customers. Other soft plastic tipping baits - like Exude in the micro grub or the new waxies, seem to appeal to the crappies, bluegills and perch better. ( a purple micro Exude grub - abaout a half inch long, was attacked by one of the largest bass I've ever gotten close to the boat - 2 lb test gave way - but man my heart was a 'thumpin ! )

Great Photos Zig,Thanks...The ol' fish eye trick huh!Works for me. Never caught a bluegill on a perch eye tipped spoon or jig...just perch and crappie
  • John Sheehan

Strange indeed!I've caught carp scales the size of dimes casting for trout, but I'll let you know when I catch a one eyed fish on a perch eye!
