Looking for info.

Would like some info on kayaks. I told myself never happen because your setting so low. Now I see they have done wonders with the seats so my interest is back somewhat. I would love to check into them as far as comfort which ones I should be looking at and maybe a propulsion system foot or small electric. Again Just looking for now with a couple back surgeries I want to look long and hard. Strictly for fishing.

I got this Hobie Mirage Outback late last summer. I added a fly rod holder and color fishfinder w/ thru-hull transducer.

I'm going to install an anchor trolley and RAM mount for my Lowrance iFinder H2Oc.

I can't wait for the water to warm up a bit so I can get it out on the water! Hasn't stopped me from fishing from shore, though.

I have a 10 foot perception . I have not fished from it yet. The few times itook it out last year it seemed very stable. Imust admit i have been a little nervous about tipping it over

this one is 11'4" long with a 24"beam,52lb trolling motor, with stick steering. the mount kicks up so you can paddle if need be.
i guess i will build another one this yr. as this one is getting old and has been patched a lot.
i fish these boats in back water ,and they take quite a beating jumping logs and stumps.
this pirogue is what the cajuns call a sharp, both ends are pointed.

Logan, I use a flat back canoe in the summer when the water level get to low to use john boats on the rivers in the Ozarks where I hang out on weekends. Have 3hp motor or troll motor to propel canoe and i get to places others cant . I can float on some rivers and and not see another person for 10 miles. I could catch more bream if those darn smallies and kentucky bass would leave me alone, but there fun to catch too.
