what's your favorite bluegill? 3 Replies
My favorite bluegill is the coppernose, but I'd like to know in general, under the same conditions, are coppernose bluegill smaller than regular bluegill, or red ear, or pumpkinseed?

http://www.togenenterprises.com/catalog/item/4111219/3965756.htm Sharon , this not the tiemco verson, but a look at the hook. I use a size eight, This is a lower price for the hook. Cabela's has the tiemco hook but if you want a better price this is a good one.

Sharon..the best hook I discovered is a scud hook by tiemco #2457. They seldom swallow it AND seldom shake from their mouth. I tied most of my bluegill flies on it last year.

I have to get some hooks the fish can't swallow so I can fish again. Got my new coppernose bluegill in a cage until we get a separate pond built.
