How did you catch the gar?

We put wire up against the culverts in our creek dam, and held it there with rocks. The water seems to go through just fine. Hopefully, the fish will not. I think I lost all my fish again last winter when the dam broke.

Both our creek dams washed 1/2 away. Can't fix them tell spring when the part that's left dries. So we have been dragging logs over with the bobcat backhoe and putting them in to block the fish from washing downstream. I'm trying to put a picture here, but it's not working anymore.

I wish I could take a picture in focus, but this looked like a Warmouth to me. What do you think?

The rains this week washed out one of the creek dams (about the 10th time). So, we decided to take out the culverts and add them to the other dam which had water washing over the top. Also put one for the new pond. So, we're rearranging everything again. I fear I have lost a lot of creek fish. Anyone know if fish are swept downriver if the creek starts moving rapidly, or do they swim in place?

I was fishing in the creek yesterday, getting mostly small ones, which a fish started splashing around about 200 ft away. So, I moved upstream by some logs. This is what came out from under the log:

He got away

I have a small creek (about 1 acre) with small bullhead, channel catfish, bass, GSF, and bluegill in it. Nothing is bigger than 6". The bass is what I'm interested in raising. Any reason I can't put crappie in the creek too?

Howdy Y'all
Looks like some Goldfish mix or Koi got in the bed with this ones mom.
Hence the big bulging eyes and downturned mouth.
Don't know if they can cross but you never know.
Hope it's not contagious.
Yours in service
