You will be rewarded with what would be a free private lesson, free bait and awesome bluegill rigs that no one has yet!!!! Please call me with your suggestion. Lake will remain private and will not be disclosed. We can put all the fish back 100% if you wish or you can take some as additional reward. No boat necessary, shore angling preferred but can fish from both boat and shore if you have access to the boat and double anchors... call 630.235.2162 for a fishing adventure you won't forget.
Michigan lakestag:bigbluegill.ning.com,2013-10-30:2036984:Topic:4465882013-10-30T00:25:44.270ZHarry DeWitthttp://bigbluegill.ning.com/profile/HarryDeWitt
We are an Indiana group of 8 fisherman who have traveled to Ontario the past 15 years for an annual fishing trip. Due to Customs issues/concerns and fishing limitations (and the long drive) we have decided to move our trip back to the States. We are looking at Otsego Lake and Upper/Lower Clear Lakes in Michigan. Can anyone offer information on these locations-good bluegill, bass and/or Walleye lakes?
We are avid bluegill fisherman, but will fish other species when we feel we have enough gill for a meal. We do not over-harvest our catch and practice catch and release on many fish caught - just looking for a nice lake to relax and fish in June 2014.

We have a travel trailer but prefer to rent cabins or housing on one of the lakes.
Any assistance would be appreciated. Central Indianatag:bigbluegill.ning.com,2011-04-05:2036984:Topic:1373682011-04-05T15:28:02.698ZEric Bladeshttp://bigbluegill.ning.com/profile/EricBlades

If you live within an hour or two of Chicago, we will be fishing a bank angling league in the Southwest suburbs which will feature bluegill fishing.

We meet, talk tackle and fish timed events. Unlike most clubs- we are less meeting and more fishing. The club this year will feature accomplishment award medals and anglers will be fishing a self-paced series of achievements. Have buddy that lives in communtiy at the mouth of the Chagrin River. We slid my 12' elec. boat in last night at midnite and fished thru-out the backwaters, marina's and boat slips. Use fly gear, poppers, hair bugs. NOTHING ! Noticed no frogs..then no insects... water is dead. Shoulda went out to mouth of river and fished the rip-rap or waited there for white bass to boil. Oh well, good weather, good company. steve b

Brand new to bigbluegill.com as of an hour ago. Luckily, my 8yr old son and fishing partner showed me a picture of a slabber in a magazine. Under the caption was a link to the site. I am sooo looking forward to being a part of sharing, learning, and looking. I live in Southeastern Michigan and would gill fish everyday if I could with my son...
