used it once this last winter, cuts like a dream, but when i went to remove the adapter from the drill it took some coaxing to get it to come off. have to but another adapter as the thread pitch was not quit the same as my drill.

Excellent John! 60 bucks for plate and Auger ! Great price  if it cuts great! What brand auger? Looks like a Lazer Ice brand .6" hole cutter ?

Comment by john on March 8, 2017 at 1:38pm

yes john. I bought the clam adapter plate and auger on craigs list for 60 bucks and the drill is a rigid brushless drill with 4.0 amphr batteries. cuts like a dream. had to go 4 hrs north to use it, cut through 7 inches of ice in about 6 or 7 seconds.

JOHN;; YOU DID GREAT THERE BUDDY !!  BUT WHY STOP THERE ??  WHY NOT ALSO ADD; A SMALL MOTOR;; STEERING WHEEL ?? NO NEED PULLING IT;; WHEN YOU CAN DRIVE IT !  JUST THINK OF THE ENVY;; OF YOUR ICE FISHING BUDDIES !  A OLD RIDING LAWNMOWER;; OR  A GO-KART;;  BOTH HAVE ALL YOU NEED FOR PARTS !!  AT THIS TIME OF YEAR;; YOU WILL HAVE A FEW MONTHS -- TO MODIFY BEFORE NEXT ICE SEASON !
