I love my 92' Bass Tracker Pro 17. It has all the bells and whistles and I got it on Craigslist for a decent price a few years ago. I paid $4200 for her. An older gentleman owned it and only fished out of it a few times due to health reasons. It has a 40 horse Evinrude on it and I have never had a problem out of it. The boat did not even look used at all when I bought it. It certainly does not look that way now. It was my first boat and I have banged it up a little but she still looks good.…

The boat did not even look used at all when I bought it. It certainly does not look that way now. It was my first boat and I have banged it up a little but she still looks good. She is in the shop right now getting a new trim unit and some tlc done on the motor. She should be ready in a few weeks just in time to catch a few fish. There are a lot of nice used boats out there. My wife and I are relocating out East in a few years. By then I might be ready for a new one. I might just bless one of my boat less fishing buddies with her when we leave. She has been a blessing to me and maybe I can bless someone else with her. I would definitely not hesitate to buy another Tracker. My only preference next time would be to add a 24 volt trolling motor. The 12 volt does a great job but you can stay out in the wind even longer with a 24 volt system.
with my physical condition it…tag:bigbluegill.ning.com,2014-11-25:2036984:Comment:5690362014-11-25T17:44:50.500ZSlip Sinkerhttp://bigbluegill.ning.com/profile/SlipSinker

with my physical condition it was very difficult for me to get out there on my little yak this year. i need the ability to stand once in awhile or my trip is short lived. so im going to be upgrading this year to a nu-canoe and/or gheenoe with a grab bar. both are very stable platforms and allow you to stand very easily.

I like stick steering, my uncles boat back in the 70's was a Chrysler brand boat that looked like the Panfish 16 model and it had stick steering, flat floor with just two seats on pedestals, handled great too. I wish I would have bought that one after he died and kept it for nostalgic reasons.
