Any one Slice a Wine Cork with a Filet knife and use the sliced cork to straighten mainline or leaders ? I now use it on my ice rods and tip up leaders and it works good and carries easy in the vest .

The pipe tape sleeve is a good way to store tippet, or leader.
I made a neck lanyard from Wal-Mart craft beads some snap swivels and a few other bits and I keep the 100 yard spools of line on it.
On the lanyard is
Nipped
Forcep
Dubbing comb
The line spools
And spare clips in case I want something else.

This Pipe thread tape container works out nicely and holds a lot of Leader for my fly fishing .I just use mono at the end of spools that don't have enough line left over to replace line or fill spools on my spinning reels. I also use a Wine cork to hold leader material .You can cut a line holder in the side of the cork ,but the line is exposed .I like this better.…

"ball and chain", INTERESTING ! I think even an anchor used with some subtlety can create a feeding frenzy if one is patient enough .We've all heard about kicking up or throwing clods of dirt/bait upstream from Trout in a stream .Seems like a similar near natural way of "stirring things up ' for a forced feed. Fishing after a rain ,when this happens naturally ,sometimes is an extremely good time to be catching fish .Love it when every one else is at work and I get to test it out with no…
