The good news is that I think I figured out what the name and manufacturer was of my jig that I am trying to find additional supplies of. The bad news is that I don't believe the company makes them anymore. Anyway, its called a "blue fox big crappie jig". My understanding is that when Rapala purchased Blue Fox they discontinued a lot of the products that Blue fox used to market. Anyway, I found a picture on the web of the jig that is a little better then the one I took earlier! If…

My understanding is that when Rapala purchased Blue Fox they discontinued a lot of the products that Blue fox used to market. Anyway, I found a picture on the web of the jig that is a little better then the one I took earlier! If anybody has any idea of somebody who may still have some of these jigs, that would be great, otherwise I am afraid my wife will probably have to find a new favorite panfish lure! I do appreciate all of the input I received from all of you. It helped me figure out, at least, what the name is of our mystery jig!
great price!
Allen,

They look fairly close, but not exactly the same as the jig I was referring to. This one doesn't include the wire bait keeper. I have been gone for the past week and haven't had a chance to try to take a better picture of the jig. My guess though from all of the responses to me initial posting is that whomever made this jig, probably doesn't sell or make them anymore.

Duane...it's a minnow head jig of some sort but likely smaller than 1/16 oz. Judging by the average size of the bluegills in your pond a 1/16 may be a tad large. Looks like rubber legs as a trimming as well.

Friend me, then send me a PM on this site and I'll send you several of what I have in stock. Can't completely duplicate it but I have something similar and others that may do you guys well.

Duane, I've checked with a couple on-line suppliers that I know of. Neither carries the jighead that I think this is. I've got a feeler out on a jig-tying forum as well. Hopefully I'll hear something soon.
