<p>Muddy water is one thing...but flooded conditions that limit access are quite another. Our ponds are not as low as last year, but if we get a 3 week dry spell then I can anticipate a fish-kill scenario in at least two of the lakes I fish.</p>
<p>Ronnie M is right...black is a 'go-to' color in muddy water, especially on a bright sunny day, as it can create a silhouette for fish looking up.</p>

<p>I never thought I would tire of blue skies, but I have. Our lawns are turning brown, My ponds are way down, and the neighbor's wheat field looks terrible. I mowed what little grass is left tonight, and felt like I needed to remove my eyeballs and rinse em' off when I finished. It's not looking good for this early in the year.</p>
