<p>No problem whatsoever as to the line itself and its structural integrity. But as Jim Cosgrove wrote you might have a little trouble with hook sets. It is typically more flexible than other lines so you might have a little more stretch than with regular line in a mono; unsure as to ice designed braids and flouro's.</p>

<p>don't know for sure but i always heard ice line is made to be softer and therefore more stretchy.might not break but might be harder to set the hook on a long cast.i prefer braid as the smaller tests are like spider silk and you can always use some flyfishing tippet for the first couple feet.i can cast 75 feet and fish 15 feet down and feel the lightest hit.braid has no stretch and the older i get the more feel the strike more than see it.it is expensive but i have not changed line on some…</p>
