I'm not 100% sure, but I think that my favorite bluegill spinner the "Rooster Tail" is made in Granger, Washington.
Thanks Bruce .Just checked out the Worden website .They have quite a catalog. http://www.yakimabait.com/YBC_Catalog.pdf

The yakima co...sounds like an outsourcing...I sent them an email asking if they were assembling and producing in the USA.I expect a no answer. Anyway,I see they carry my favorite ice fishing lure which I can't wait to try at ice ice out as well."THE SHAD KING " Hildebrandt lure.
How do those Rooster tails work on Bluegill? We use them for stocked trout around here and they work great. The tackle shops are all stocked with them cause the words been out.
Hey John, Wow, a fellow Shad King devotee !! This was always my absolute favorite lure for anything early season -bluegill, crappie, especially trout! Old Hildebrandt really had some neat designs, and always a homegrown ,good ole USA product -until recently! I read a forum comment somewhere recently by a Hildebrandt family member ,lamenting the fact that their ole standby baits were now produced in China, tho' he "assured" that the old time quality was still there?!!
I was afraid of that .They are great lures , so are the little flickers for trout. I got my first trout of the year on one of those flickers.I just want to see jobs by Americans for Americans in this difficult time.It s important that we take care of each other here in our own country.Whoops a little off the fishing topic there!

Man those Hildys though huh John!

Delete Pam Burton replied to my query about the yakima co. products and here's her reply:
"We still assembly some product in the US,however, we do manufacture in Mexico also."

I heard from dedicated fisherman and keeper of the fishing flame,John Kean about the Hildebrandt co. outsourcing to China...I still love those lures.... the slow fall is key I believe and love the single hook.

Pam Burton's 2nd reply just in:
Most everything is made at times in Mexico.
We purchased Hildebrandt a few years ago."
My favorite small jigheads are hand poured in Hawaii by my good friend Keith Okimoto at www.leadfreejigheads.com and a neat line of hand crafted small jigs and spins are made in WA by Mel at http://www.bigdaddye.com/ .
